Alongside her storytelling and visual art practices, Fiona Dowling has been playing mbira, a traditional instrument of the Shona people of Zimbabwe and Mozambique, since 2011. She has studied with mbira master Chartwell Dutiro, Tembo (Rhoda Dzomba), and Linos Wengara, and is now keen to introduce people to this wonderful instrument here in Dublin.
